Sounds like: Early Jesus and Mary Chain, Fuzzy guitars, Dramatic Orchestral Backdrop, 60's Girl Groups, Agonizing Emotional Lyrics, Velvet Underground, Spector-ish wall of sound.
They are currently unsigned...but don't expect that to last to much longer with fans like Dirty Pretty Things and Ian Brown.
